Dr. Lisa Squire earned her American Psychological Association (APA)-Approved Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 1983. Dr. Squire provides individual and family psychological services for children, adolescents, teens and adults. She also has extensive experience conducting psychological assessments/evaluations with adolescents, teens and adults.
Dr. Squire is an 'in network' psychologist with most national/local insurance plans. She takes an eclectic approach working with her patients, and prefers to be collaborative during the counseling appointment. She likes to serve as a coach or consultant, someone who can help you learn something new to manage and deal with the concerns that motivated you to see a psychologist.
Dr. Squire's Personal Statement: "I imagine you're considering seeing a psychologist because you want to make some important changes in your life. Success working with a psychologist depends on you feeling comfortable engaging in a collaborative manner with me. Some sessions may be difficult as you confront important questions about yourself', your family, your children, and how you and your family function in the world.
As you proceed in our work together, you may experience frustration, confusion, anxiety, self-doubt and/or conflicted feelings. At the end of our work together, however, you'll most likely have learned something new to help you with the concerns that brought you in to seek psychological treatment or assessment for yourself or your children.
Please feel free to contact me at 952 854 2440. I look forward to hearing from you."
